Join us as we learn about an initiative to invest in yourself through a structured networking plan that will support you in undertaking meaningful conversations with influential individuals. This session offers a hands-on walkthrough to help you begin the process to define your purpose and build out your own networking plan. At the end of this session you will have the tools and direction you need to undertake this initiative for yourself!


Jen Scharien, CPA and UVic Bachelor of Commerce graduate from 2007, is an Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis at BCI, one of Canada’s largest institutional investors as well as the Founder of her own accounting firm, Finlotus Accounting. She is passionate about personal and professional development, developing the 12 Influential People program as a result. Jen is also dedicated to the advancement of equity, diversity and inclusion, taking action as the Chair of Women in Capital Markets Victoria steering committee and the Chair of the D&I committee with the CFA Society of Victoria.
