Calgary Alumni Meet-up

Join fellow UVic alums, in Calgary, for boba tea, bing su, and brain teasers while supporting an alumni-run business.

Last month, Zet Le (MGB ’18) opened Y Not Today in Calgary with the vision of connecting people and community over sweet treats and engaging games, like Hanayama and Burr puzzles. Bring your friends and family or join solo and make new connections at this fun and informal meet-up in this welcoming new spot in town.

Not familiar with boba tea or bing su? This is a great opportunity to try them! Boba tea is a Taiwanese drink made of tea, milk and chewy boba pearls. Bing su is a Korean shaved ice dessert topped with sweet ingredients like fruit and condensed milk. Both are delicious!

Time: 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. MT

Location: Y Not Today, 4339 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary AB

Cost: $10 per person (includes bing su, beverages and sweet and savoury snacks)
