Russia's War in Ukraine:
Perspectives on Justice and the Future
As Russia's full scale war in Ukraine continues in its second year, it is more important than ever that we maintain attention. This war has global implications and has revealed our common connections.
In this panel discussion, experts from the UVic community will provide insights into the history behind Russia's invasion, its potential global implications, documenting war crimes and the need for justice. Panelists will share perspectives on how recent legal developments, including the indictment of Russian President Vladimir Putin, could impact the outcome of the war and our global future, as well as the human cost of the war.
All alumni and community members are invited to join us for this timely and thought-provoking discussion.
