Invest in the Next Generation of Borders

BIG Lab is training the future of border management practitioners, policy analysts, cross-border officials, and researchers through our BIG Summer Institutes. Now in our 6th year and with the generous support of the European Commission, the Summer Institutes will be hosted from Brussels, Belgium. With your support, BIG Summer Institutes will reduce barriers to participation by offering tuition-free fellowships to outstanding applicants from non-Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries. Border policies and practices are rapidly evolving. Global sustainability depends upon the cooperation and coordination of all nations. The BIG Summer Institutes Tuition-Free Fellowship Program provides access to training, networks, and research opportunities for those in under-resourced countries.

What your donation will fund:
$2600- will provide funding for a full micro-credential in Modern Border Management, accredited by the University of Victoria.
$1000- Tuition-free fellowship for a participant from a non-OEDC country (5-day course).
$600- Tuition-free fellowship for a participant from a non-OEDC country (3-day course).

Please help us meet this year’s goal of funding 5 outstanding applicants from non-OECD countries.
