Your donation to the ITOTELNEW̱TEL ȽTE: LEARNING FROM ONE ANOTHER fund will provide UVic students, faculty, and staff with greater access to Indigenous knowledge. Your gift will bring Elders into classrooms across campus, and bring students out into the community to learn from Elders on the land.
Incorporating their knowledge into university learning is a small but urgent step on the journey to understanding and reconciliation.
UVic students will go on to be our lawyers, teachers, child-care workers, researchers, non-profit and business leaders. They are – and will continue to be – agents of change. This change must include a greater understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
