Jacob Michael “Jake” Noseworthy left this world suddenly on September 19, 2019 and, left a big hole in the hearts of all the people he touched over the span of his short life. He was a kind and caring soul who loved politics, school and writing about every sport imaginable.
Jacob came to UVic on a full-ride scholarship that he earned through his outstanding academic achievement, where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Journalism. Jacob was predeceased by his Baba “meow” who he loved dearly and has left behind his Mom Tracy, Dad Mike and partner Bonnie, half-sister Andrea, grandparents Herb and Shirley and Phil and Rita, as well as many other loving members of his family and friends.
The establishment of the Jacob Noseworthy Memorial Scholarship will not only help undergraduate students with similar passions, but also honour and contribute to keeping the memory of Jacob alive through this scholarship.
We invite you to make a financial donation toward this scholarship. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to create an ongoing scholarship to continue Jacob’s legacy. Your gift, of any size, will serve as a thoughtful tribute and a living memorial as it continues to benefit many more students.
