For 50 years, the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre (BMSC) has provided students with valuable on-site Marine Biology learning.
The coastal environment, facilities and marine vessels make the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre a dynamic learning destination for students each year. These students spend time at Bamfield participating in intensive, experiential courses and conducting independent field research on the ocean with living organisms.
Students consistently report that their time at BMSC was life-altering, and career-inspiring.
Please join us in supporting UVic students’ participation at the BMSC. You can do so through operational support, or student support:
Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre FundDonations to this fund will be used to assist the Department of Biology in sending UVic students to the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre, including, but not limited to, student transportation costs.
