Transgender Studies at the University of Victoria

Your gift makes a huge difference for trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people.  Thank you! We can issue tax receipts for either Canadian or U.S. tax purposes. The Chair in Transgender Studies

We are a community of UVic, visiting, and community-based scholars; graduate students; administrative support staff: and the founder and inaugural chairholder, Dr. Aaron Devor.  While the University of Victoria supports the work of the Chair by providing in-kind support, the vast majority of The Chair’s funding comes from individual donors.  We cannot continue to do what we do without the support of people like you.
 
We need research to inform better policies and laws to drive the kinds of social change that will improve the lives of trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people. We need to continually build community to help more trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people to go from just surviving to really thriving. The financial support of our community allows us to do both.
 

Monthly Giving Club

We encourage you to join our special group of monthly donors. They are some of our most dedicated and enthusiastic donors. Monthly donations enable us to build budgets more accurately while also giving us the daily encouragement and reminder that what we do is worth investing in.
