Beach Clean-up with Surfrider Foundation



UVic alumni are invited to give back to the community by participating in a beach clean-up in partnership with Surfrider Foundation.

Surfrider Foundation is committed to fostering a just, equitable, diverse and inclusive organization for all people who depend on, protect and enjoy the world’s ocean, waves and beaches. Join us alongside members of the UVic Surfrider student club as we help keep our local beach clean and welcoming for all.

Date: Sunday, October 18
Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Cadboro Bay Beach, Sinclair Road, Victoria BC
Family friendly: Alumni are welcome to bring kids and friends.

Equipment will be provided, along with light refreshments. To reduce waste, please bring your own travel mug.

The event will proceed rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. A waiver is required to be signed and a link will be provided after registration. 

Drop-ins are welcome, but alumni who register in advance will be thanked with a small participation gift from the Alumni Association.
