UVic Hong Kong Alumni Network: Happy Hour

Join UVic alumni and friends for a Happy Hour in Hong Kong!
Reconnect with your UVic community at our first Hong Kong alumni event in several years. Enjoy great conversation, drinks, and snacks while connecting with fellow grads and friends. Bring a guest and join the Hong Kong Alumni Network volunteers and a representative from the UVic Alumni office for an evening of camaraderie and Victoria vibes.

About Museum Café 8
Museum Café 8 is more than a café; it’s a community hub. Operated by The Nesbitt Centre in Hong Kong, this social enterprise provides meaningful vocational training and employment for adults with learning disabilities and neurodiversities. With a mission rooted in inclusion and connection, Café 8 perfectly reflects UVic’s values, making it an ideal venue for our Happy Hour gathering.

Meet UVic Alumni Officer, Kate Hollefreund
Alumni Relations Officer Kate Hollefreund will be traveling from UVic to co-host alongside the Hong Kong Alumni Network volunteers. If you’d like to meet with Kate for coffee on Monday, October 27 or during the day on Tuesday, October 28 to share your UVic story, hear campus updates or simply connect with a friendly face, please email khollefr@uvic.ca to schedule a time. Coffee and treats are on UVic!

Registration Details
When registering, please ensure your credit card billing and mailing addresses match to complete your transaction successfully. Additionally, please include the name you used at graduation so we can find your alumni record easily. If you’d like to share an updated or preferred name, please include it in the comments section.

You might even spot a couple of current UVic students at the event. They’re completing exchange programs in Hong Kong and are eager to meet the local alumni community!
