Family Day Skate with UVic Olympians

The UVic Alumni Association invites you to bundle up in your warmest UVic gear to join fellow UVic alumni and friends for a private family skate at G.R. Pearkes Arena. This Family Day skate will be an opportunity for kids and adults to meet UVic alumni Olympians and check out their Olympic medals in person! We will be joined by UVic Olympic rowers Doug Csima (MSc '13), Avalon Wasteneys (Vikes Alumna) and Gavin Hassett (Vikes Alumnus).  A big thank you to these Olympic medallists for joining us!

Equipment rentals are included in ticket price. Register below for a great afternoon of fun and physical activity!

Time: 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Location: G.R. Pearkes Arena – Tillicum, Victoria

Cost: $4 per adult, $2 per child under 12

 

Online registrations for this event are now closed.

Proof of vaccination will be required for those 12 years and older in order to attend. Plans are subject to change based on updates to the provincial health order.  As per the provincial health order, masks are required in the arena for those 5 years and older when off the ice. Masks are encouraged to be worn on the ice, but are not required.
