Vikes Recreation: Alumni Association Bursary for Active, Healthy Living

Students climbing and swimming

Gifts to the Alumni Association Bursary for Active Living support the physical and mental health of UVic students by offsetting the costs of a membership to the Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA).

Compared to students across Canada, UVic students are above-average users of their athletic facilities. To accommodate their needs and encourage a healthy lifestyle, CARSA provides a variety of equipment and classes in a welcoming environment - one that is equitable, diverse and inclusive.

Your generosity will provide students with access to equipment and training that is key to maintaining or improving their physical - and mental - health while pursuing their education.

If you have any questions, please contact our Development Office at 250-418-5140, or by email at givingtuesday@uvic.ca
