The 26th Annual Victoria Pride Parade

The Victoria Pride Society acknowledges that we serve our communities as visitors on the traditional territories of the WSÁNEĆ (Saanich), Lkwungen (Songhees) and Wyomilth (Esquimalt) peoples of the Coast Salish Nation.

Watch thousands of people in more than 100 colourful entries march through downtown Victoria to show their PRIDE and solidarity with the Queer community.

The parade begins at the corner of Pandora and Government, continuing south on Government, turning west on Belleville and then south on Menzies until turning west at Kingston; parade moves south on Oswego ending at MacDonald Park at the corner of Oswego and Simcoe. Follow the end of the parade to MacDonald Park in James Bay to the Victoria Pride Festival.

ABOUT THE VICTORIA PRIDE PARADE
Since 1994, the annual Victoria Pride Parade has brought together people to increase the visibility of the diverse Queer community in Victoria, celebrate resilience and protest against continued marginalization. The parade has become one of the largest on the island with 2019 slated to be the loudest and proudest yet.

Victoria Pride Parade is a family-inclusive event. For this reason, we ask all participants to refrain from actions and images that are excessively violent, sexually explicit, or which may be otherwise distressing. Our desire is not to limit self-expression but to ensure that the context in which it occurs is appropriate for everyone.
