Bob McDonald is widely regarded as Canada's leading science communicator. Best known as the longtime host of CBC Radio’s Quirks & Quarks, he has spent more than 50 years making science accessible and engaging for audiences across the country. An Officer of the Order of Canada and recipient of a UVic Honorary Doctor of Science degree, Bob is a passionate advocate for curiosity and lifelong learning.

In this short conversation, Bob reflects on the power of curiosity, lifelong learning and embracing new opportunities. Drawing on a lifetime of asking questions and exploring ideas, he shares insights on how staying curious can spark growth, deepen understanding and open new possibilities throughout our careers and lives.
